Bryan Both My bike is something of a bitsa, and has a rather chequered past. Powerplant
and bodywork are T, frame & brakes are T3, front end is Marzzocchi. Update: The T is still US after a long layoff. But now that I have a decent shed it has moved onto a bench and been partly assembled. Meanwhile I'm riding a traytop and running a gardening business. I got married in 08 and will become a father in June 09 :-)

on borrowed bike. Help out in pits at Barbagello raceway in Wanerroo for a mate
who runs a Suzuki T20 classic racer. Still studying part time (PhD).
Cali has aftermarket chip & Just Bikes Trailer. Third Guzzi since 76.
3 Grandchildren.
My V50 is off the road taking a good long look at itself. I hope to have it
back in action, running sweetly and looking pretty, late this year. Meanwhile
I'm rumbling around on an old XS750 (ex-Shadow fleet). I miss the V50 madly.
I live in Sydney, I'm 28 and I'm a student.
Ex RNN (Submarines). Bikes since moving to Oz in 1980 : A couple of step-throughs
- what a buzz in the wet..... - a brief relationship with a Bol'dor, then a
longish relationship with a CX500 Custom, before finally taking a well sorted
Guzzi 850T5 for a spin - I was sold - and so was the bike - to me. Current bike
: Le Mans MkV, Ultima Edizione 60/100, '93 mod. And YES - IT IS RED!
Dream bike: Guzzi Magni Sfida - one day......
Favourite music: The sound of a Guzzi in Full Flight.
Why Guzzi's? If you have to ask - you won't understand.
A mad motorcycle courier that loves bikes ,not riding them but restoring them.
With the execption of the SP1000 and the GTR1000 they all have been brought
as wrecks then restored.
With more time spent on my sailing there's less time in the shed and workshop.
I ride the Monza every day usually to work, and otherwise to go for a fang along the Gulf St. Vincent, through the vineyards, orchards, and forests of the Adelaide Hills solo or with friends, and as often as possible on tour across half the continent with a hipflask in the tankbag.
I'm perfectly normal and so is he. I work as an engineer and am the proud owner of an immaculately finished V50 111. While the V50 is just about perfect I also harbour dark thoughts about various 650s, 850s, 1000s and 1100s.
Married 1 wife, no kids, 2 bikes, 1 car, 1 dog. Sparkie. Been riding for close on 19 years now. Only come off once though. That was one too many. I've gone through a few different bikes over the years, commuters to screaming meanies. DR250, RG250, RZ500cc, now BMW R100RT, GTR 1000 & finally the Cali. I certainly love the twins and shaft drive. I can't see myself ever oiling a chain again. Anyway bye for now.
Bought my first Guzzi, a 1984 850 T5, 2nd hand over 15 years ago, and have used it for commuting and touring ever since. We've added to the collection over the last couple of years with a V50 Monza and more recently a long sought-for Le Mans Mk1. Other interests (besides riding....): Timber boats, home-brewed mead, diving, taking the bikes apart, putting the bikes back together and anything else that feels good at the time.
