The beast is black, six months old, and is fitted with factory tacho kit, twin front disk kit, screen and backrest/rack.

This is my first non-jap bike. Had 7 years bike free before getting this one. Main hobby is flying sailplanes at Camden.

I retired 3 years ago after 15 years of running construction projects in China, Russia,Taiwan, India,South America & Hong Kong. I am a member of the Ulysses club since retirement and rode to the South Australia AGM last year. I lost my right forearm as a young man but have continued to ride. I have a prothesis that works the throttle and have relocated the front hand brake to the left hand bar as a thumb brake. All work well. Have done some mods to Guzzi tail lights that has stopped the fuse blowing and located & fixed the fault that was causing the motor to miss on random occasions. Have also fitted foot plates in leiu of the rear pegs as well as a nice high profiled sissy bas that Gail (my wife) reckond is as comfortable as they come. We are all fitted out for touring and enjoy our Guzzi immensly. We both find it a very comfortable bike for long distance touring.

Purchased bike new in WA in 96 I am married to Gabrielle and have 5 children. I am a property speculator by proffession. Will add to this as I get an inspiration.

Seems to be the "Flavour of the Month"!Had licence for 20+ years.Decided to saddle up again last year after 17 years! eased back into it with a Yamaha 250 Virago!Yep still love that feeling of freedom.Somehow added MG to my list of upgrades.GREAT bike for me.Power to weight ideal,Agility,Price.Looks good.Still running in & learning what this baby can do. Prev.exper.the joy's of Guzzi running from Sunshine Coast (QLD) to Gladstone on Andy Best's (S'coast fellow DJ) Mk3 LM every weekend for two years. My brother had a MK1 LM that I used to repair paintwork on occasionally and had to take for a "drying ride" (everyone knows paint takes a three to four hour ride to dry). Owned a '72 850T that I bought as a basket case in '87 turned out to be the engine I was in love with. Had LM pistons, rings and bearings fitted. Used Ken Taylor (Maleny Qld) to tune same. Re-aquainted with Ken recently when I approached him about post warranty care.He pointed out a few prob's that I could get fixed under warranty and now I've been without a bike for 8 days. Good onya Ken.Mind you I was losing faith in the handling. Warranty has been OK, but takes too bloody long. Problems have been: Rust on mirror stems. Pitting and rusting of STAINLESS headers. Nuts and bolts loose on inspection. Pinging? under certain load conditions .Runs on Optimax or whatever 98+ I can find. I Love her and I'll wait for her 'til she's better and I promise never to abuse her!

President of the Blue Liners Touring Motorcycle Club (founding Pres and after a few years out of the seat back in....bugger.lol) The Norge is my 3rd Guz, had a 95 Cali 1100i and then a Jackal, love the bikes. Also have a Harley Ultra as my missus likes the armchair.

I have only been back on motorcycles for the last 7 years, have had 5 bikes in that time [making up for lost time] this is the 6th. I have always had a desire for a real cruising motor cycle, so the Moto Guzzi. Yes, at my age, I am a membeer of the Ulysses Club.
