I've had the 1000S for nearly 19 years now (bought it new) and its still going strong with 95,000 k's on. I would never part with it, it just keeps getting better. I love riding it.

Built my first mini-bike at 13. Owned Jap bikes then Norton Commando 850. Then BMW R75/6 for 11 years. Hit midlife crisis and needed a Guzzi S3 - couldn't find one so I got the Sport. It's red. Getting closer to sorting it out with a lot of help from Tom Newell - Brisbane. Looking forward to using the site for tech tips and info. I have some to share as well.

Had the bike from new.Nearly got a Ducati (like the guys I ride with) but I'm glad I didn't after going to the Phillip Island Supers, there was just hundreds of the bloody things. They're like assholes, everybody's got one! I've had a set of staintunes with carbon cans fitted along with the factory carby kit. Sounds better than anything on the road I reckon!

My name is John and I'm from France originally. I had a V50II in Europe about 12 years ago. A lot of my friends had various Guzzis, from V7 to Californias... I thought of taking mine with me when I moved to Australia, but the price of freight was ridiculous... So I bought a BMW 650 a few years ago, but always wanted another Guzzi... But I could never find the right one at the right price, so a couple of month ago I decided to bite the bullet and buy a new one... It's the greatest bike I ever had...

Have been living in NZ for 2 years. Previously owned 1983 Lemans 111 and a V-7 Ambasador with side car. Was offerred a ride on a V11 and fell in love with the improved technology. Sold both bikes and bought the last 1100 sport available in NZ (new). I prefer it to the V11 and have thoroughly enjoyed it. I have owned it for 12 months. Look forward to receiving info and participating in your site. Unfortunately I am a little useless when it comes to the technical side, but probably make up for that with enthusiasm. I still don't understand what it is about Guzzis that appeals. Must be unconditional "love"!!!!! Cheers Andrew

My 850T has an unknown history, I purchased with 49000 kms around the clock how many times? I love it because it has a 750S tank and seat and the beautiful swan neck clip-ons, Colour is Black. And it gives those show boys at the Superbike Cornering School something to thinkabout!
