I've always had bikes, from little trail bikes when I was a kid, I got my Guzzi about 16 years ago, but it sat in my shed nealy all that time, because I started a family, three chilrden, and a few years later, the old bike is coming out of retirement.

Have just found out about this site. Not much into this computer stuff, bought Mille new in 88. Am now moving back to the mainland (NZ), and can't bear the thought of parting with the old girl, she's still a good ride. Does anyone know about shipping bikes overseas, in regards to reliable & reputable companys. Whats reqiured? Does it need to be crated etc. I will be shipping out of Brisbane, any info would be much appreciated.

Had the LeMans since new, smashed it badly a few times. It was rebuilt as a 950 with high comp pistons and a few other mods by Brook Henry in the late 80's. Been living overseas for a long time and had kids, so I've just pulled the bike out of the shed to get it going again. The Benelli has not been run for about 10 years but will live again soon.

Had a V11 Sport. Loved it. Had the opportunity to buy the Daytona RS and have now done 7,000 kms. Very happy. Wouldn't mind a Scura, but where do you stop? Previously owned a string of new Triumphs, and a Honda Blackbird. Now well and truly in the Guzzi groove.

Hi guys & girls, I have been riding bikes now for 21 years, and have been a proud owner of my Mk1 850 Le Mans for 11 of those years. I rode just about every Jap bike there was till I rode the Guzz and fell head over heels. I'm a member of the Moto Guzzi Club in Brisbane, but haven't had much chance to ride lately.

I have enjoyed motorcycles and motorcycling since 1974. I was given a 'lift' to work by a neighbour on the back of a Suzuki 500 Titan when my car 'failed to proceed'. From that point on I was hooked. I went out and purchased a mighty Suzuki GT 250, with RAM AIR, and have never looked back.

I have had 3 Guzzis, my current S3 and Cali EVT PI and a 1991 MK5 LeMans, which was written off by a taxi in Sydney in 1993. I have also owned other brands which have included a Yamaha 850, a BMW K100, a Ducati 450 Desmo and a 900SS bought new in 1975 from Frasers in Sydney - the Imola tank, no electric leg, no indicators, spoked wheel model - should have kept it.

However, Guzzis are my preference - mainly because I like things which are a little different and Guzzis are definitely different whilst still being great to ride. The S3 has had some restoration work done on it but now I have the Cali to ride I will be pulling it down to finish the project - it really is a lovely bike.

My other passion, when I can fit it in, is flying Hot Air Balloons.

See you on the road or maybe at the 'Budgie' - Ciao for now, Grahame
