Sculptor, art teacher, father and husband. Owned a few bikes, all V twins. Like most things Italian.
I've been riding bikes since I was 13yrs old, had heaps of fall offs and fun. I've owned 16 bikes over the years, I REALLY like my Guzzi. I want to hotten it up to get more boogie out of her. When funds allow.
Always looking for a bit of useful info on Guzzi.
Keen biker. Former MRA member/committee member in the late '70s & early 80s. Enjoy rallies (although mortgage commitments etc make it hard to get to many these days) and riding. A wayward wild wallaby wandered under the front wheel of my Sport 1100 in the Royal National park, wrecking bike (and almost me). Looking forward to MGS/01 should it come to Oz.
My first motor cycle experience was a Bernelli 50cc moped motor straped to a 26" Super Elliot pushie which was able to do 18mph with the baffles in and 22mph with them out , the official time keeper was my older brother riding his 90 cc Honda super sport which I was later able to find out would do 50mph siting up or if you laid over the tank it would reach 55mph . I've enjoyed a few other motorcycles since then but again it was my brother who pointed me to the Moto Guzzii experence. In 1994 I was impressesd with his 89 mark V LeMans when we went to the Ulyssesy AGM at Alice Springs . I,ve had the Cali from new and it's been a very enjoyable experience
Bought the bike in 2002, had new piston rings put on it, some other minor work. Has Staintunes. Nice red colour! Special thanks to Barry at Italian Motorcycle Engineering for fixing up my engine woes.
