My first Guzzi (a Nevada 750) was a lemon since the day I bought it. I busted a gut getting my bum on one, and then progressively, bits keep falling off it. It was a dream to ride (what was left of it that is). Any clues how you get irresponsible dealer to honourably make amends for slackness?? After 18 months of trouble, they swapped over bikes for me to a similar age Nevada Club instead of the basic Nevada - basic black. I took it for a ride to Broken Hill to attend the Ulysses Ghost Town Rally and made it there and back in strong winds and rain and only one bolt fell off it. So things are improving.
Long term two stroke addict. I've matured now and am getting to know my new Guzzi "mistress"
I must be re-visiting my early adulthood with this new toy. Previously owned Suzi GT550 water bottle, Kawasaki SR650 and the old Honda CB750. Kids wanted dirt bikes, wife wanted jewellery, I wanted a bike...got a Guzzi & love it. I work for a regional airline, have flown aircraft, directed them (Air Traffic Controller) now enjoy my mid years with wife, 4 kids & a bike (I keep a photo of the bike on my work desk!)
Don't you hate it when you have to write about yourself. Getting back to motorcycling after a few years off (responsibilities) On second Guzzi (first Lemans IV for 13 years 300k+) Love motorcyling. Met Helen & Peter at the Winter Rally.
I had a really bad run with 2 V11's so swore I would never touch Guzzi's again. Now have the Lemans which is under restoration and really enjoying the experience so far.
