Have only been riding for 6 years - my partner Dave Mason has been riding all his life - so I had a bit of catching up to do! Went straight from 250 Jap crap to the Monza, which I fell in love with when Dave went to look at a Ducati Pantah - we came home with both! Love both the 'baby' and the 650. Totally hooked on Guzzis and won't look at anything else! The 650 took out 'Best Motorcycle of the 80's' at the recent Motori d'Italia at Lansvale in Sydney. Dave is currently racing the Pantah in the Post Classics Forgotton Era and a Bucket but we still manage to get away on ride days and rallies. I have also started an all girls motorcyle group up here - 'Just Girls' and its grown from the original 18 to 109!! So Im a bit busy these days! - but I did get to attend my first Guzzi Rally finally because you moved it closer! Bretti was fabulous, beautiful spot, great bikes and wonderful people! I was the blonde with the other two ladies all in the one tent! (Dave was racing that weekend, so we left the other husband at home, and Pat's single!). Thanks everyone for a great weekend!
I own my own trailer manufacturing business. I enjoy long rides and attending rallies.
Recently retired and spending too much time rebuilding my V 65 Lario.
Have had the Le Mans just over 2 years and the SP was purchased so that my wife and I could travel Oz in comfort (after attending to the abortion of a seat it had). Unfortunately the SP has had some probs which I hope are now fixed up. Got into Guzzis in the early '80s when I bought a '82 Le Mans III which I put 85000ks on in 2 years and then sold to buy a caravan to live in (silliest thing I ever did).
This bike looks like the picture at the moment However soon It will take on a transformation. New front end bigger brakes sweet paint job etc. so I describe it as a work in progress.A shame I wont be able to ride it for a while.
I try & ride my Cali daily so she looks a little weather beaten, I'll send photo at a later date. Also have pictures of Guzzis I run into around the traps.
I have a V10 Centauro, called it Josie. Mario at Thunderbikes in Bassendean (Perth WA) knows her well.
Fixing the LeMans up for the road after 6 years in the shed. It was going to be a racer but kids, work and a mortgage got in the way. Raced the Bully for many years, until it took up residence beside the Guzzi. The BSA was a result of a bit of tyre kicking that went wrong (in a good way) and has become the daily commute
