I started riding shortly after getting married in 1970 and have never stopped since. Over the period of these 34 years I've owned all Japanese and mainly in line 4's. Never been quite game to put my $ on a European because of what I perceived as a lack of quality control, however the Aprilia take over of the MG group has given me that back hence my purchase of 1x Moto Guzzi LeMans with the good suspension.
My other bikes(collecting dust now) are a 21 year old CB1100 and a CBR 600 track bike. I really enjoy tinkering with bikes but right now I'm having a holiday from that and enjoying the new bike feeling of owning a Rosso Corsa. A quality bike and fittings.

Saturday morning, the sun is shining, I'm watching one of my boys play cricket in between glancing at the classifieds. What's this? an 1100 Sports for sale? Not often you see that especially a couple of days after the good wife has said yes you deserve to get yourself a nice bike. So I did. And I love it as do my three boys.

I grew up on British bikes - Norton, AJS, BSA, etc., then for a while I rode Japanese then after the kids grew up and I could afford it I bought the SP about 7 years ago. Unfortunately the last 3 it's been in pieces due to my lack of motivation, a mistimed timing chain and burnt out starter motor. Now it is back on the road and I can't stop smiling.

Back on a bike after 25 years. Tried a CBR 600, too easy to get in strife. Found the Guzz now I'm hooked. It has all the right things for me.

The LeMans 3 was the machine I wanted, but couldn't afford when I bought my first road bike. I guess my regression now means I must be Over The Hill...
