I work for a mining company in the north of W.A. on a Fly in Fly out situation. Two weeks on two weeks off. You don’t get better than that. Hobbies are riding (naturally). Also love woodwork which is a passion of mine. My California has a double HRD sidecar attached. This was great for taking the three kids with me but one has flown the coop now so I will look for a one and a half chair to replace the big girl. I had a 1977 Bonneville but have recently sold it when I bought the Honda ST1100. The Bonnie wasn’t getting used and was just costing me money in reg/insurance. It was hard to sell, as it was another bike like the Guzzis, it had a soul. Still it went to a good home. I am planning on using the Honda for long distance touring.
Been Biking since I was 16. Wanted a Guzzi from the first time I saw one. Had this one for 7 years.
Originally from NZ, moved to OZ in 1988. Owned various Jap bikes untill 1994 when purchased the Le Mans. I don't buy/sell bikes too often so feel very at home on the Guzzi. Currently the Treasurer of the Moto Guzzi Owners Ass. NSW.
Went in to buy a Hog walked out with a Goose. Just fell in love at first sight. In those days I was working as a shuttle driver in Chch and I had just picked up this American from one of the cruise ships who wanted the Harley shop. We got talking bikes and it turned out that his wife had bought him a Cali for a Christmas present. This guy had five Harleys and he said that when he got back home he would keep the one his son rides and sell the rest. (true story) "Why wallow in the mire when you can fly."
Enjoy riding, rallys and maintaining this bike. I have had my current Italian love affair for 12 years and still wouldn't update the old girl for a younger one. Moto Guzzi's are V twins made the way GOD intended with no exceptions.
Ex Victorian (sorry!). Been up in God's own country for 10 years. Guzzi fanatic. Bike rebuilt. Original apart from front end mod. Removed breadbox fairing etc.Now with round light and different fairing and dash. Looks much better. Red (what else). Reg No' 84GUZ. More reliable than a woman. Ride her all day and she never complains!
Previous Bikes, LeMans 1, Monza, Ducati 900ss Enjoy riding and restoration of classics
Long standing Guzzi owner 1st Monza '85, 2nd Monza 2000 now fully restored ,T4 bought '03 and now being rebuilt from the ground up.
New to Guzzis but always wanted one. Now I can't stop raving about them. I've joined a local club and I'm going to rallies again. Great bikes. Great people. Great riding them.
