I owned a couple of Jap bikes years ago, but I gave up riding due to having kids. Now they're all grown up I bought the Guzzi. I'm keen to learn more about it so the wife and I can do some cruising.
Bitten by the Guzzi Bug while working in Sydney with a Guzzi (LeMansII) owner. Couldn't work out how (why?) such a bike could ride, untill I rode his. Haven't looked back since. Had the older bike since 1997, the newer 1100 acquired early 2006. Wife occasionally asks when older bike will be sold.
New to the Moto Guzzi. Enjoying it more and more as I get used to it.
This is my first bike although riding for >20years. Purcahsed from Don Newell in Brisbane Dec 2006, previous owner upgraded but looked after this bike pretty well. I use it as daily commute and occasional longer rides.
Have had 14 bikes including 4 Ducatis and 2 BMW's. Have done a lot of touring around Australia over the last 10 years, mainly on a Paris Dakar. Brilliant. Have a 2001 California EV which I am enjoying and have an idea that one day I'd like to own an old single Guzzi.
Bought the bike in 04. Done a few mods; set up suspenion, X-over,pipes, K&N, more Carbon, Cliff's ECU and optimiser that runs Closed Loop, Ram Clutch. In just over 3 years I've clocked up 46000km.I think she's a keeper.
I am a keen enthusiast of Guzzis
Do a lot of distance riding, this is my 1st Guzzi after a couple of Triumphs.
