The Cali's my first non-Jap bike [bought it April '07], have had mostly Hondas [one Suzuki] since I started riding back in 1980.
I have the caffeinated GT built by Hand Made Racers a few years ago.
Bought in June 06, first of new twin plug model Cali sold in Oz I believe - yet to see another anywhere. 35000km since then, including shipping to Centenary Isle of Man. 11000k in 8 weeks. Prev bike 95 California with touring kit - 50000k in 3 years. I love my Cali.
I am new to Guzzi. I found this bike and brought it back to life and realise what an amazing thing it is. I just spent a week in Tassie and was blown away by its soul.

I have been a Guzzi fan for many years, purchasing the first one (Mk 1 Le-Mans) in 1981. After riding it around Australia it was in less than perfect condition and was off loaded to my brother who has since restored it to original condition. Several different bikes later the love of the Guzzi called again and a Callifornia 2 was added to the stable. The Cali (after 20 years with me) is currently going through a freshen up in the shed with a new clutch and rebuild of the rear bevel pending. After reading some of the info on this site I figure I need to get involved and join up. I am a former member of Vic Guzzi owners club but found it more relevent to Melbourne members, with club benefits and attending meetings difficult to take advantage of from the country. Networking with fellow enthusiasts via aigor will be a great.
