Back on the road after 10 years or so and loving my new Guzzi. Best thing I've ever ridden.

Started on two wheels about 2 years ago with a Vespa GT200 that I am likely to sell this weekend. Be sorry to see her go but I have other things to look forward to. During this time I have also had Suzuki GS500 but the call of an Italian bike was too strong and after considering various other makes such as Ducati, Moto Morini and Aprilia, decided on the Breva 750 as a great introduction. Found an '03 model in Adelaide and rode it back to Sydney, and despite some poor weather had a great time and found it a great "getting to know you" period with my new Guzzi. As of next week it will take over my commuting duties and of course used for my weekend rides as well.

New to Guzzis and a returned rider after a 10 year break. The Lemans had everything I wanted in a bike. Was a bit daggy when I bought it but am slowly getting it sorted. Enjoy the ride and the mechanical challenge. Plan to get it fully sorted and then tidy up the look, perhaps a paint job. Mmmm, pearl white with guzzi green tint over a red frame.

I have been out of bike riding for about 15 years but the riding bug struck again about 6 months ago. I have owned a Lario in the past and wanted another Guzzi and in particular a V50 Monza. After a lot of searching, I found a fully restored Monza advertised in the UK and imported it earlier this year. If anyone is interested in importing a pre 1989 bike, the cost works out at about $A2300.00 and is fairly straight forward. My wife Lynn rides the SRV.
