I just fulfilled a long term desire to own a Le Mans by securing a Mark 3 from another AIGOR member.

I started with a BMW F650GS after getting back on a bike folowing a 30 year hiatus. I had a blast on the BM and decided I needed a bit more flat top riding. I traded for a Nevada which was a little too small for a bloke my size and then to the Norge which I think is just perfect for what I want. My partner rides a California EV and got me started on the Guzzis. They go great out and about.

Started with Honda SL125 (trail bikes huhhh they teach you how to fall with style), Ducati 500GT, Honda Shadow and the final indignation that comes with marriage, a 1979 Honda CB 250 twin. Thankfully back to all things Italian now and am very happy with V7. Hey to all the guys in Qld Club Branch.

Immature and of pensionable age, but can't abide being seen on a 'cruiser' or trike. Obviously like a challenge as I have Italian bikes. Live in an area with lots of two-lane blacktop with infrequent tourists/travellers. Ridden for the best part of a half century, on & off. Sometimes the 'off' really hurt. Wish that the Daytona had a sixth gear...

bikes: 1978 SP 1000,modified, seems to be built like a Le Mans motor (38mm carbs etc), and a 1952 AJS single - was 350 but now got a 500 barrel.

I'm a territory boy since I was 4 years old, this is my second Guzzi; had a Mk II Cali but that burnt to the ground with the house I was in. Looked for ages & couldn't find another so bought the SP, purchased with passion so I'm still working on it. The AJS is a wet-season project; so far 3 wet seasons but hopefully this one will see it on the road! NT is a great place, but seriously lacks corners...
