Bikes are in my blood, ever since I had my first ride on a 1951 Thunderbird 650 in 1961. It flew down the street my eyes watering as I slid down the seat hanging on to the throttle it only went faster. I finally came to rest in the swamp at the end of the street and I was hooked.

I'm 44 and just entering my second childhood and Lisa is a little younger than I but much more sensible. Speaking of sensible I was looking at buying a Cali Jackal for comfort etc. but started looking through my Guzzi books and decided I should get something a little sportier. So I have ended up with a 1991 model 1000S, which is not that comfortable but bloody good fun. I used to have a Monza back in the mid 80's and this bike has a lot of the same quirks. I have decided this one is a girl and have named her "Millie".

I just got the bike (1988 Le Mans 1000, black, gold wheels. from Mario's stable at Thunderbike Motorcycles) after a year of searching on and off. I would love a Centauro, but this will get me going until I have the cash (and sufficient yearning) available. Looking for a set of Givi panniers and rack to suit a LM5...

Sorry my bike was adveritsed for years here but I was overseas and no one seemed too serious. If I wasted your time will compensate with shared alcohol and amazing tales from the south pacific. But you cannot have it now. As soon as the heads come back, I'm away and shaking my head that I even considered selling the mile beast that will lift me out of the depression of my divorce. I nearly love this machine as much as my son.

I road my first Guzzi about three years ago and had an interesting time with the California but it just wasn't the bike for me. I traded it in about seven months later.

I couldn't settle on a bike and went through a few untill I saw the Griso and fell in love with the looks. I have had this bike for a year now and is about the longest I have owned a bike, so you can say I am happy with it.

I do a ton of track days and have a bike set up for that but Guzzi is so lovely on the road.On the track I get all my aggresion out that I feel comfortable to take it easy on the road and it has enabled me to apretiate the abilitys of my Guzzi.

A bit about myself. I work as a technician for the transport system. I have a four year old son who means more to me then anything. My son loves nothing more then coming with me to track days and the occasional ride up the driveway on the Griso.
